Salaams, This is a recipe that I’ve written down a few times and each time I’ve managed to lose it. It’s a family home made natural recipe for a cold and as far as I know it doesn’t exist on the internet. I just want to say thanks to my lovely sister in law who […]A Recipe: Curry – A Cold Remedy — PeacePrayerLove@ the7ofus.blog
I’m sure we all have toys the children have stopped playing with and maybe even just don’t have time to play with – get them out!!
We’ve had a lot of fun this afternoon with ‘TapTap Art’ the cork-board was broken so maybe that’s why it was relegated to the top shelf waiting for me to replace it. I know I can easily grab a new cork board and even normal pins work too, the S (5yrs) and H (3yrs) enjoyed making different pictures and the older kids got involved too! Reminding us of fun times when they were younger.
We also found a frisbee which literally gave us about an hour of fun, I was about to take pictures- for this blog, but I was living ‘in the moment’ as my sister always tells me to do… and I kept thinking I’ll do it in a minute. When all of a sudden Z (10yo) managed to throw it on the roof of the garage 🤦♀️ so yeah -pics to come!
Anyway hope I’ve convinced you to get out their old toys and remind yourselves and the kids how fun they are! let me know how it goes in the comments- happy kiddos = happy mama 😊 💃💃💃
Write 3-5 different colours on pieces of paper and then pick one colour each, You have to only eat food of your chosen colour for 24hours…inspired by the current YouTube challenge
It was not easy!!
We chose the colours at night and then ate breakfast according to our colours jam on toast; orange; cereal and scrambled egg on toast (Yellow was the best colour here!)
We then headed to the supermarket
It was fun choosing all the food and deciding what each other was allowed M was very flexible with us (So we would be flexible with her later she said!) S and A enjoyed grabbing a lot of chocolate as they got Brown and granddad managed to pick up pears and avocado for his greens. We got home all excited and made our lunches.
After lunch Red decided that he wanted to make watermelon juice; Green and Pink got to have some too; but after that Orange (me) decided I had to have coffee so we slowly started to get ‘out’ – most of us failed when the chocolate came out for Brown!! so eventually the next morning Brown was crowned the winner… Play it with your kids and let us know how it went in the comments
